Welcome from Pastor Young
We are grateful that you have chosen to visit our church website. It is both a privilege and an honor to serve as the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Black River. Black River, New York is a beautiful little town situated on the Black River and also very near Fort Drum and Watertown, New York, making it a great place to serve the Lord. Our desire and prayer is for you to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible – believing, Bible – preaching, independent Baptist church like this one, that cares for people.
We are grateful for the blessing of God here in beautiful Upstate New York, and we make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His word. We strive to live up to our motto: “Come thou with us and we will do thee good.” (Numbers 10:29)
