Because of the location of First Baptist Church, there is a natural relationship between the church and the soldiers of Ft. Drum and the 10th Mountain Division. The demands on the soldiers and their families during the deployments and training and preparation has shown us that there are great opportunities to be a help and blessing. As a result, the Lord has given us numerous opportunities to minister to the soldiers and their families.
Caring for our deployed soldiers with care packages, letters, and daily prayers is our special privilege. 
Thank you soldiers for you service and sacrifice. It is our honor to be a blessing to you.
